COVID-19 symptoms range from mild to severe and include:
Fever
Chills
Cough
Difficulty breathing
Sore throat
Congestion
New loss of taste or smell
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea
Emergency warning signs include trouble breathing, persistent chest pain, confusion, and inability to wake or stay awake. If someone shows these signs, call 911 or go to a local emergency facility.
COVID-19 symptoms' duration varies based on infection severity, with mild cases lasting 1-2 weeks, moderate cases 2-4 weeks, and severe cases lasting several weeks or months in hospitalized patients.
