A new study presented by the American Heart Association reviewed data from four studies which involved 570,762 people. The study results were robust in that they showed a 25% lower chance of death from any cause in people who were consuming chilli peppers regularly. Furthermore, they showed that the risk of death from cancer and cardiovascular causes was decreased by 23% and 26%.
