Advise Patients Receiving Eplerenone Tablets:

Not to use potassium supplements or salt substitutes containing potassium without consulting the prescribing physician [seeWarnings and Precautions (5.1)].
To call their physician if they experience dizziness, diarrhea, vomiting, rapid or irregular heartbeat, lower extremity edema, or difficulty breathing [seeWarnings and Precautions (5.1)].

Although the overall incidence of FD&C Yellow No. 5 (tartrazine) sensitivity in the general population is low, it is frequently seen in patients who also have aspirin hypersensitivity[see Warnings and Precautions (5.4)].

Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. You may report side effects to FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088 .
